Donna Schmitz Accepts Position as Director, Solution Services Group at Fairfax Imaging, Inc.

TAMPA, FL, MARCH 03, 2009 – Fairfax Imaging, Inc. a leading provider of innovative capture and recognition solutions announces that Donna Schmitz has accepted the position of Director, Solution Services Group.

Ms. Schmitz, a Certified Project Manager at Fairfax Imaging, brought several of the company’s most complex and far reaching projects to successful completion, on time and within budget.

Ms. Schmitz earned her MBA degree at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2002, and achieved certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute in 2005.

Ms. Schmitz has a substantial track record of achievement and accomplishment in the project management arena as well as over 10 years of background in team management and production and business management.

Prior to joining the Fairfax Imaging team, Ms. Schmitz chartered project planning in support of the replacement of systems to move the Sarasota Family YMCA from an AS400/i-series dependent platform to a SQL based platform by implementing SQL based systems across all organizational disciplines.  Ms. Schmitz planned, deployed and executed the implementation of five independent operational systems across five disciplines, which included: 

•  Membership/Program sales and management software

•  Human Resources/Payroll

•  General Ledger/Accounting/Purchasing/Accounts Receivable

•  Contracts and Grant tracking

•  Fundraising/Donor Management

•  Foster Care – Case Management

In 2001, Ms. Schmitz Established and managed a Project Management Office, hired, trained and managed Project Managers and Business Analysts that applied analytical skills and business knowledge to define the information systems requirements necessary to build, design and install information systems across four regional offices.

A senior manager who brings to the company over 12 years experience in business and project management, Ms. Schmitz will bring a fresh and  dynamic approach to the Solution Services group, further strengthening the Fairfax Imaging team.
