The Federation of Tax Administrators 24th Annual Technology Conference and Exhibition will be held August 10-13, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Center in Chicago, Illinois. FTA is again seeking state agency, federal, general electronic commerce, tax service provider and other private-sector presentations related to the application of technologies that enable improvements in tax administration.

This Call for Presentations provides an excellent opportunity for you to ensure that tax authorities and the private sector are aware of exemplary efforts and programs that your agency or business organization has developed. We would like to have your suggestions and submissions by April 11, 2008.

Your suggestions are appreciated; we also desire your recommendations for good speakers you have heard on topics interesting to tax administrators. If you wish to be a part of making the Conference a success, we would like to have your suggestions and submissions by April 11, 2008.

The Conference will be designed to meet the needs of a wide range of tax administrators involved in the development and administration of technology applications. It should benefit both relatively new employees as well as mid- and senior-level personnel with considerable experience.
